HOw We Started?
The Nyonya Sarong Kebaya is a traditional costume worn by the Peranakans of Southeast Asia, consisting of a long-sleeved blouse and a long skirt wrapped around the waist. It is a timeless symbol of cultural unity.
LOOKK pondered about why in other countries, there is a huge demand for tourists to try on their traditional costumes, yet in Singapore the demand seemed little and there are very few companies in Singapore doing so.
LOOKK believes that we can contribute more by promoting one of our Singapore heritage attire, the Nyonya kebaya, to the rest of the world.
Using our makeover services, LOOKK transforms our customers into elegant Nyonya, and the photoshoot takes place along Koon Seng road or in the Peranakan museum together with their traditional and intricate artefacts.
This is where the magic begins.

Peranakan Mansion by Straits Enclave is a private museum established with the mission to promote the Peranakan heritage and culture.
The owner of the museum, Baba Chia, is a fourth-generation Peranakan, and he is a passionate collector of Peranakan antiques, some of which have been in his family for generations.
Get a chance to pose with some of the museum's artefacts during the photoshoot.
Take a tour around the museum or have a go at their workshops, there is one that teaches the traditional Peranakan beading at a fee. Find out more here.
